August, 2003: Through EF’s efforts, CBS TV News Honolulu gave an exciting, update news report about Johnston Island Nuclear Waste Burial.

October 19, 2002: Honolulu Star-Bulletin (#2 newspaper statewide in Hawaii) publishes significant news story about Johnston Island Nuclear Waste Burial, coinciding with our new national & Hawaii education project about “Nuke Waste Burial Underway near HAWAII.”

October 9, 2002: Earth Foundation launched its FOURTH eco media campaign in 23 months—a Hawaii, national & international email and print campaign to protect HAWAII, U.S. WEST COAST, & PACIFIC nations from radioactive nuclear waste dumping on Johnston Island (also called “Johnston Atoll”).

October 9, 2002 and April 16, 2002: two Johnston Island Nuclear Waste education projects – done in association with Down to Earth organic grocery stores statewide in Hawaii, and with Mana Foods, on Maui, respectively.
